How Godrej Capital built a 100% paperless loan journey with 99.99%+ uptime on AWS
Godrej Capital, the financial services arm of the Godrej Group (formerly Godrej Housing Finance Limited), set out to replace a traditionally paper-heavy lending process with a digital, customer-first experience. Working with Flentas from inception, Godrej Capital built and launched its lending platform on AWS in around four months. The platform brought information gathering, KYC, financial evaluation, and document handling into a digital workflow, reducing the loan application journey to 15–20 minutes end-to-end.

A serverless, API-centric platform built for speed and scale
Flentas architected and built the platform on AWS using serverless microservices, allowing the team to develop and roll out services in a modular way.

Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda formed the core of the application architecture. Third-party tools for financial analysis and KYC verification were integrated into the platform to support real-time loan eligibility checks.

As the database footprint grew, query logic was rewritten to improve fetch times and storage performance. The platform also used Amazon S3 for secure document storage, while the UI/UX layer was decoupled from backend services to improve performance and maintainability.

Security and operational visibility were built into the environment through centralized VPN access controls, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail. Flentas also provided a 24/7 managed services framework to monitor and support the platform.
